Our Story!

Learn with Lily is a family-run business based in the UK, offering educational play kits, messy play classes and play inspiration to support your child's exciting learning journey! 

 
Learn with Lily first began in the Summer of 2020 during my maternity leave when we created a small play account on Instagram dedicated to the adventures of our daughter, Lily! 

In the confinement of the global lockdown, the play page soon became a great way to connect with other like minded families and share educational play content to inspire others and their home learning. 

Things quickly grew momentum and before long, we had requests from our followers to make home play kits so that our play ideas could be brought to life! This was both an exciting and daunting prospect but something which I knew could be so instrumental to children's play!  
 

Early Years Learning has played such a vital role in my life and so creating educational play kits, felt like a natural and obvious transition. With a background in Early Years education, I have witnessed firsthand the importance of learning through play. Giving children a real sense of purpose enables them to truly grow and thrive to reach their full potential. 

After careful consideration, we began developing the brand, with of course little Lily being the driver behind everything. Learn with Lily was then born! I became a Stay at Home mum after 18 years in education, and began growing the business and developing the brand. We even got a little helping hand in 2022 when the queen of clean, Mrs Hinch, mentioned us on her Instagram page (cue 10,000 new followers!) which helped to elevate our social media presence and raise further awareness of our cause. 

 

Research and hands-on knowledge has always been paramount at Learn with Lily, no matter what aspect. We are constantly sourcing quality resources and play materials to develop and enhance everything we do to ensure that those little learners in your life receive the very best! We have even embarked on our own green initiative with a commitment to creating a more eco-conscious brand. 

3 years later, Learn with Lily continues to grow and evolve!   

What began as a humble kitchen table venture has now organically flourished!  We have created our themed play kit collection, have a small workshop, deliver sensory classes in the local community, and have proudly grown a loyal fan base who equally share our enthusiasm of the learn through play philosophy.  

So much so that we are now expanding how we deliver our inspirational learning by opening an outdoor Nature Playgroup too (When we say we advocate play we really do mean it!) This will mean that Learn with Lily will be able to offer both indoor and outdoor play classes to really support holistic development for children and beyond!
