HOW LONG WILL MY SENSORY BASES LAST?
All our sensory bases are made fresh to order meaning they hold greater longevity for play. We use food grade ingredients such as dry grains, pastas and pulses which are hand-dyed using non-toxic and CE tested paints. Stored under the right conditions, they can last up to 12 months.
HOW DO I STORE MY BASES?
Bases must be stored in an air tight container away from sunlight. If your sensory bases get wet, dispose immediately. Always make sure you handle your bases with clean, dry hands before play.
FOR WHAT AGE ARE THE KITS DESIGNED FOR?
Our aim is to make our play kits accessible to all. Our bespoke range means we can tailor your kit to be age appropriate. Use our contact form to begin making your very own bespoke kit. Our standard kit collection is for ages 3 and over due to containing small parts which could pose as a choking risk. Play must always be fully supervised.
IM NEW TO SENSORY PLAY, WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO USE A KIT?
Don’t worry, we have you covered! With over eighteen years as an Early Years professional, we have written a curiosity guide with handy hints and tips on how to encourage play responses. The guide is free with every order. We suggest decanting your kit into a shallow tray or tapas dish to maximise presentation.
DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?
We are delighted to be able to offer a bespoke service and have made a vast variety of bespoke orders for all our little sensory play fans! Kindly contact us and we will be happy to work with you.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY TOOLS AND ACCESSORIES?
After using your tools and accessories, it is important to wash them with warm water and leave to dry. Do not soak any wooden items in water or put in the dishwasher. This will help keep them free from moisture to be used time and time again.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY ORDER?
We always aim to deliver your item within 7-10 days. During busier periods such as seasonal releases, delivery is likely to be longer so please take this into consideration before purchasing. However, if you need your item sooner, please do not hesitate to get in touch as we may be able to offer speedy delivery. Bespoke orders have a 28 day delivery time. All items are sent 2nd class, Royal Mail delivery.
HOW ARE YOUR ITEMS PACKAGED?
We take careful consideration with our packaging and opt for a more eco-conscious, sustainable option. Our packaging is fully recyclable, along with our stickers and wood wool. To continue with our eco-initiative, we ask that you please reuse or recycle your box.
DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE THE UK?
We currently offer shipping within the UK as standard. However we are looking to expand to customers further afield later on in the year.
WHERE ARE YOUR SENSORY CLASSES HELD?
We really do believe in the power of learning through play, and deliver weekly sensory classes for all ages in Merseyside, Liverpool. Our classes are pretty legendary! We cater for all allergens and dietary requirements at every session making sure every little set of curious hands can take part!
